Midas Fixed Gas Detector is a highly sensitive and reliable gas detector used in the semiconductor industry and other general industries for toxic and combustible gases. Honeywell's fixed Midas oxygen detector greatly reduces the operating costs required for gas detection through extended sensor calibration cycles, flexible communication modes, sensor self diagnosis functions, and automatic flow control.
Midas uses a transmitter platform for detecting toxic gases, ambient gases, and combustible gases in typical industrial environments. Pre calibrated "plug and play" smart sensors can be quickly and easily replaced without tools, and prevent operators from using or discarding sensors incorrectly. The high brightness LED and intuitive chart display interactive menu display gas readings and alarm levels (combined with password protected menus for parameter settings, detection, and calibration).
The compact shape and easy maintenance metal body design of Midas make it very convenient to install in dense, complex daytime process environments or environments with high space requirements. Midas comes with standard built-in optional power and communication modes, including 3 built-in relays, 0-22mA analog outputs, Modbus/TCP Ethernet digital outputs, and a new Power over Ethernet (PoE) protocol - a single Ethernet connection for all power, control, and communication devices. The Midas architecture significantly reduces the cost of integrating PLC and FieldBus systems.
Midas has a sampling distance of up to 30 meters (100 feet) and uses control technology to automatically adjust the flow rate to ensure error free gas detection operations. Honeywell Analytics has designed and manufactured its unique advanced sensor automated production line, ensuring unparalleled quality and reliability.
Midas has been highly praised for its innovative Chemasset range with its ultra sensitive low ppm toxic gas monitoring analyzer and our global network built by maintenance engineers (24/7, year-round). Instrument features: It can be used for over 40 gases and comes with a two-year extended shelf life. The intelligent sensor clamp with built-in "electronic calibration" certificate is equipped with level 1 and 2 alarms, as well as relays for faults. Power over Ethernet (PoE) communication and power supply platform keyboard interface and remote network browser interface can be connected to any transmitter's thermal cracking device and LonWorks interface. Optional module password protection menu management function is used to maintain system integrity. High brightness LED and intuitive icon display, large backlight LCD display screen. Factory calibrated sensors can reduce frequent real gas testing. Gree's 0-22mA analog output with fault and status reports. ModBus/TCP Ethernet communication method can be easily connected to control and alarm systems for control connection and service up to 30 meters. Powerful sampling pump system for sampling distance (2-year service life), interactive training simulator tool CE marked for comprehensive anti electromagnetic interference Reflex sensor operation status inspection to improve detector safety and reliability TempraSure TM temperature compensation base (depending on the situation) Technologies that can detect gases by browsing sensor history status records to confirm gas leaks and avoid false alarms:
